Mark and all
I tried to run the jack direct to my truck battery and got the same results,
it did not operate.
Next I tried to open the housing to the motor to check the brushes and could
not get it off. The housing would  slide only half way down the cylinder and I
did not want to force it, any ideas?
Lastly, it was not purchased from Inland all of my dealings with them have
been more than positive. The seller was a Michael Parks in Vancouver WA.
