[VACList] Argosy-Strip Paint OFF

I have a 77 Argosy, and it is presently painted Cream
Color.

I would like to have the Silver Aluminum look. I think
it looks better than the paint, even if oxidized.

Are there any major reasons why NOT to strip it?

And then, what is the best/easy way to get the paint
off. I have heard that any acid might continue to eat
away at rivet holes, causing problems later with
spinning rivets.

Any input appreciated.
