Brad,

Two reasons to not try to strip your Argosy:
1. The end caps are most likely steel, not aluminum. They will never match
the aluminum panels, polished or not.
2. The aluminum panels used for argosy's often had dings. In order to make
it look right bondo was used. You may find yourself wanting to replace
several panels.

While it can be done it will be a major undertaking and when all is said and
done it just won't look right. If you really want the polished look, then
buy an Airstream and polish it. It WILL look right and it WILL end up
costing you less!

If you must keep the Argosy and you hate the cream color try another one,
perhaps silver.
