Scott,
As Dr.G & others have said, a 15 watt panel will do virtually nothing for
your proposed usage. Those small panels were designed to maintain batteries
in a camper or car that sits unused for a period of time. I would suspect
that your type of usage requirements would need 90-150 watts capability.
Your battery potential is from  the "dark ages" as well. We have three 65
amp hour Optima (AGM) yellow tops under one of the beds. The old front
mounted battery box on our 59 Ambassador is now used for tools etc. We have
been away for a week at a State campground with no services & didn't have
any problems the whole time. You also might consider upgrading the charging
system on your 65 Imperial to a modern alternator system. The Street Rod
world does this all of the time & mounting kits etc are probably available
for that engine.
