Thank you Mitch for a very well thought and explained post below. Yours was
the type of reply I was hoping would show up. I know this could be done
with ease considering the vast amount of experience and talent in our group.
I would bet that even Wally B would approve. After all, Wally B was all
about making things better all the time if possible - and this idea is
possible.
You know, if Wally B never improved his products or ideas I could understand
others being sticks in the mud not wanting to budge but Wally B was not that
way. If he was we wouldn't have the travel trailers we have today. Even
the old vintage purists are a dying breed except for our own very beloved
Glyn Judson who WILL find every original nut and bolt, rivet, etc. for his
California dream Airstream. But, who wants to be like Glyn? I mean, who's
got that type of time to hunt down all this stuff just to do it like Wally B
did it *originally*?
We have very good if not great technology today that gets better almost
daily. We would be fools not to use it to our benefit would we not?
