Scott, Never heard of tempered plexiglas, I'd bet the barn its tempered glass. Tempered breaks in to little round pieces, rather than shards. Actually all your windows should be tempered, but I can't be sure if that was a (safety) requirement that long ago. (IIRC yours is a '69?) Matt
