The windows on our 1969 Intl Ambassador are NOT tempered glass, they were 
not tempered back then or farther back.

The BEST thing anyone can do is to ADD window tint to the inside of your 
glass which will keep it in place for the most part if it ever breaks -- and 
they do now and then.
