Outlet boxes!?!
Nope, no boxes in my '60. Just electrical tape wrapped around each outlet to
keep things from shorting against the aluminum inner wall! (That is what I
checked first!) I will try to access the wiring in the ceiling via the rear
vent or the one overhead light that I have to see if there is any kind of
junction.

Steven's nap time is soon, so I might be able to check all of these
suggestions this afternoon.
