Re: [VAC] Help! Running Lights

Hi Jay,

I have restored a 66 Trade Wind. If none of the front marker lights are
working you have either a break or short in the feed to the light string.
The five front marker lights are fed from a single wire that runs from the
light closest to the main door to the Junction of the harness Cable which
should be located behind an access panel near the curbside front. The door
is about 6"x6" and all of the trailer wiring (Lights and Brakes) are located
here. In 66 the Marker Lights were on a green 18 Gauge wire. in order to
test for the bad section of wire, find the green wire in the junction panel
and check to see if you have power there with a 12Volt testing light. Then
check for power at the light closest to the door. If you have no power there
you will have to snake a new wire up through the wall from the feed
location. Let us know how you make out
