Re: [VAC] new to the group

Evan & LeAnn -

Welcome you'll love the great help offered by this group. I am, too,
trying to match fabircs and colors which may be difficult! My best
suggestion is to follow the color scheme of of your linoleum tiles under
the cabinets. Baige and cream off whites seem to be popular. The
contrasting color seems to be a blue like Reflex Blue (printer's ink
reference; you can see it in a Kinko's)

As for fabics try James P. Ambrusco Inc, at 800-813-7686. He makes
replacement drapes for Airstreams. Talk about arcane!

He will ask for your trailer's serial number and see what he can do. I
did ask if interiors could be determined from serial numbers, and he was
unsure.

BUT he claims his curtains will exactly fit all your windows with snaps,
rings &c. and he will send swatches to choose from. I have yet to do
business with him, although he is sending me swatches, so I can't
endorse his services. But he seems nice on the phone. He wants about
$350 for my trailer which has six windows. I have no idea if that's
competitive. If anybody in the group can review his services let's hear
it!

I am very lucky in that a large automotive and aircraft upholstry
maufacturer is here in Indianapolis. I will probably work in this vein
for seat covers. I want something designed for the application in tough
demands of trailer upholstry; besides they're cheap and will sell
wholesale! I'll pass along contact info if you're interested...

My seats seem to have recovered at least once, with no earlier evidence
of original material. I am resorting to my own taste, which is probably
exactly what the original owner did. How's that for rationalization!

Good Luck and let me know how you progress, and if you find sources as
well!
