Sounds like a good plan. Madison had open 7 spots for the 1st of July for a 
19 foot trailer when I made reservations earlier today. The lady did say that 
all the hotels in the park (Old Faithful Inn, Mammoth, Tower, etc) have all 
been filled until October. Sometimes I fear that people are going to love 
that park to death.

Thanks for the info.. I usually come in via the Main Southern entrance. If 
it's going to be late in the day when I plan on arriving, I'll be sure to 
have a reservation somewhere in the West Yellowstone area, then reenter the 
park the next morning, early enough to arrive at the campground of my choice 
right at 10:00 AM or so.?
