My '77 has a stainless steel fesh water tank that leaks at the welds near
the bottom. I had a welder who specializes in stainless look at it, and he
advised not to attempt to re-weld because you would just be chasing the
leak, i.e., as you fix one leak, another will appear next to it. One day
I'll have it replaced with plastic.
