Also keep in mind that not all GPRS EDGE modems are created equal. Not all can 
bond multiple time-slots on the upload side, and not all can bond more than 2 
or 4 download time-slots on the download side. (For maximum rated download 
speeds you would need 8 time-slots bonded, though you are usually not 
allocated more than 2 on upload).
