Jon,

It is not at all crazy for your wife to learn to tow the trailer. Actually
it is an excellent idea! You never know when she might HAVE to...its best
that she already be familiar and comfortable with the idea. She would
probably want an electric tongue jack, but other than that I don't see
anything that needs to be modified just because a woman is behind the wheel.
Just make sure that what you have is safe and working well! One area often
overlooked is rear view mirrors that stick out far enough to give you a good
view.

...whose wife, last weekend, practiced backing the trailer into and out of
several campsites before driving the rig home. And then backed into the
drive on the very first try a couple of weekends ago - and did a very good
job I may add! With a stick shift!
