Hi Kevin, I'm the one with the springy floor.  This trailer has been used
heavily, and the aluminum foam composite does shrink and the floor gets
springy in traffic areas.  The last info I got from this site was to use
stainless sheet to go across the void.  This was how the airlines do it was
the meat of the message.

Non traffic areas are very stiff.

I will give you some thoughts that I have had on how to do this.  I'm still
trying to pick the right one.  Got lots of links too.  I am still up in the
air on these things.  The interlocking poly tiles are light, cheap, and with
something under the span could be very stable.

I have to hit the hay.  I am very interested in this though.  Carpeting will
not hide the sag when it occurs.  I do not want carpeting anyway.  I have a
lot of irons in the fire at the moment, time for bed here.  I would stay
away from wood.
