I found a few more links if anyone is interested.  There are many different
types of interlocking flooring.  I found some PVC type that is definitely
going over the concrete in my 'used to be' garage now my utility room.

My aluminum floor has sagged between the frame members through the traffic
areas.  I'm looking into a raised pvc tile that I can hit with a belt sander
to bridge the high spots at the frame.  It will offer some insulation for
that cold floor.  Bridging the floor with stainless is a bit too pricy for
me right now.
