Hi Molly,

Randy Unter tried an interesting experiment last August at the Rocky
Mountain Rally (You and Ben were there, right?).  He tried using ammonia to
dissolve the clearcoat, with mixed results.  It's pretty cheap, so you might
try that. ..Spray it on a small area, and see if it bubbles.  If so, you're
in business.  If not, then try one of the water-soluble strippers.
