Hi Guys, congrats on your "new trailer"!  The ammonia didn't work on our 
'64, only on some of the 70's ones.  I believe the clearcoat was only on 
CA models back then...is yours CA or OH?  Also, if it is an even 
grey...it probably wasn't clearcoated.  Our's is really splotchy, as you 
probably remember, a lot of our clearcoat had aged off and the oxidation 
occured unevenly over time.
