Esteemed VACers---As an apartment maintenence supervisor for years, I have lots of experience with mouseproofing and thought I'd chime in with my favorite time tested solution-Determined mice can chew right through caulk or foam, but I've never had them make it through steel wool impregnented foam or caulk. I just mesh out a 1/4" layer of steel wool before foaming (or on top of existing foam before foaming) or caulking . Evidently those lil' varmints hate the taste of it or can't get through-one.I am also a proponent of eliminating as many attractants as possible, sort of like camping in grizzly bear country but on a much smaller scale! tod47d
