J. L. Dietz. I came up with a permanent solution many years ago, for the 
sticky ceilings and walls. Clean them one more time. Then pick up some 
"Future Floor Wax" at your grocery store. Apply the liquid wax to the walls 
and ceiling area's. Because of the built in grain that the "vinylclad" has, 
you will see a beautiful texture magically appear. Two coats will do wonders. 
The next time you need to clean the walls, a simple wipe down with soap and 
water, does the trick. CAUTION: Do not use a soap that has ammonia in it as 
that will remove the wax. 
Try it, you will like it. Try it on a small area first, to make sure that the 
new beautiful interior appearance doesn't over excite you (humor).
