[VAC] Re: Sticky ceilings

Residue on the ceilings can be conatributed to from cooking, etc within
your unit but I cannot fully accept that as the total cause of sticky
ceilings. Neither do I think it is from adhesive bleeding thru. My
presumption is that it is simply a chemical reaction taking place within
the vinyl. Many of us successfuly remove stickiness this using a citric
based cleaner (usually an orange based product) but will note ceiling
will become sticky again over time (couple years or so) and we need to
clean again. I suspect the age of the trailer may make a difference and
we might find that the 70's trailers are more prone to this and those
later units.
