Jack, if you are concerned about transmission durability you might want to
consider adding an transmission oil temperature gauge. Overheating the
transmission shortens the fluids life, leads to varnish build up and
subsequent problems. There was a thread on this topic a few months back.
Check the archives -- www.tompatterson.com and do a search on transmission
oil temperature.

Just a thought.
