[VAC] Re: Modifications on a 1962 Globetrotter

Jeff,
If that window is flat and is missing only the glass, you could easily
replace it with a piece of Lucite (tm) from your local hardware/glass
store.

It is probably not realistic to operate your water heater from a genset,
as you'd have to run the latter every time you wanted hot water. The
trailer probably had a gas-fired water heater originally, so it should
be possible to replace it. Some water heaters can accept (or include) an
electric element, but that's almost superflous, IMO. The gas usage isn't
that great, so expense is not a big deal; you'd go a long time to pay
back the cost of the electric heating element unless you're full-timing.
