These are called structural insulated panels, and are avaialable
commercially. Most are much thicker than we'd want for trailer floors. FYI,
I use hollow core doors for desks and work surfaces in my Argosy office, and
they work well--easy to modify, light, strong, and they even match the
interior veneers of my coach!
