[VAC] Re: tow vehical

OK, Where do we start?
Ask for the following items:
All service records, especially when was the engine service, the cummins is a
great engine but needs the valves adjusted every 50-75K miles. Ask if the
injector pump on the engine has ever been rebuilt/ replaced. Ask when the auto
trans was last serviced/ replaced. Dodge makes a great auto trans but they last
about 150K miles before they need a rebuild. Ask if the rear differential was
ever serviced, hopefully with synthetic gear lube. Ask if it was ever in an
accident, if it was, what kind of parts were used in the repair, you want OEM
parts. Ask about the brakes and tires, they should be in good shape.

That pickup will run down the road with a 3500# load like it isn't there. I
would have to do more research to tell you if the price is fair.
