 I think you need to get a book on electrical things and learn a bit.
Bob Livingston's "RV Maintenance and Repair" is a good place to start.

Look at my A/S pics (see SIG at bottom of message) for the dinette I
built. I barely know which end of the saw does the cutting and which
goes in my hand. If I could figure out enough to do the job on the A/S,
you can learn enough to do simple electrical troubleshooting.

Buying a new converter may or may not solve your problem, I don't know.
