[VAC] Vista Vues

Hi Everyone,

The four vista vue, thermopane windows on our trailer look awful. They
may have had condensation in them at some point. But the problem, at
this point, is the mylar finish between the panes has come off and makes

the windows appear cloudy and full of condensation. I have looked on
Tom Patterson's site regarding these. Here are the two recommendations
I've found.

"Purchase some plastic filming material at a craft store and apply it to

the windows." I can see how this would help with the view from the
interior of the trailer. But the windows look awful from the outside of

the trailer also. They are, by far, the worst looking part of the
trailer.

Second, "break out the interior pane of the thermopane window." I would

then have access to clean the inside of the outside pane. I may also
have to install a gasket where the interior pane had previously been to
hold the exterior window snug in place.

Has anyone done this? Any other thoughts or options? I have been
thinking about this for some time but have been hesitant to start
breaking out windows.

Thanks,
Eric
