Round tanks take pressure much better than square tanks for the same
weight wall thickness. But they hold less water in a compartment because
of being round.
Pressurized tanks hold less water than unpresurized tanks because there
has to be room left for the air. That's probably the prime reason more
recent RV's have gone to unpressurized water storage and demand pumps.
