Sherry,
Most water, in southern AZ, has a lot of salt in it.  The salt will eat up a
metal tank.  Pressure tanks are round and metal. Demand pump type tanks are
usually rectangular and are plastic, there is not the pressure on the tank
as with the pressurized system.  I've been told that is why the tank is
round-it will take nmore pressure.
