 The key is lots and lots of water, QUICKLY. Water won't neutralize the
acid directly, but it'll dilute it to the point of 'no danger'. Don't
waste a lot of time looking for baking soda in an emergency, get out the
water, and the more the better. Get it on YOU first, then on the vehicle
that the battery resided in.
