Melvin, Am I to understand that a powerstat 20 or 40 will take the place of the univolt? It will charge the battery and provide continuous DC power converted from AC without a battery? Is the StatPower TrueCharge 20 amp for $225 what you are referring to? Is this a good deal? Thanks again for you help. Brenda
