My '29 SS Supreme Rocket has a battery box on the tongue that will hold two
large batteries, 2-6 volt or 2-12 volt.  For the way we use the trailer, we
have two deep cycle 12 volt batteries in parallel.

My 79 SLL 32' has two batteries. None of the others (not SS) have two, just 
one. One will do. Two lasts longer if that is what you need for equipment, 
usage, type, and style. Some of my trailers are dual voltage interior 
lighting. Some even within the same make such as Streamline, are 12 volt 
only. Some, like the Glider Albatross and the Vagabond are 120v total 
interiors only and don't even use a battery. Seems only constant is 
inconsistency, even within same maker and depending upon year.
