You can get it in red and blue for hot and cold but I
believe the material is the same. I used white on the
whole thing because that is what I could get at Lowes
and /or Home Depot. I just marked the hot with red
"dots" and cold with green "dots." I used the dots
from an office supply, like one uses for prices at
garage sales. I used mostly "sharkbite" fittings from
Home Depot. Some sizes and configurations, I had to
use Quest fittings. The sharkbite fittings are brass
and really nice. The Quest are gray plastic. Not as
sturdy looking, but works when that is all that is
available in the correct size. The nice thing about
Pex is the ability to swell, some, if frozen.
Supposedly reducing freeze damage. Also you can cut it
with a sharp knife, or in my case Fiskar's pruning
shears. Flexes and bends nicely.
good luck, bill b.
