Re: [VAL] Progress on the 1954 double door Liner

Bill,

I have purchased rubber grommets at my local hardware store. I'm not sure
about the plastic ones. I'm not sure what you or the group may think of
this idea, but you might use the same type of connector you would use to
feed Romex into a metal receptacle box (romex connector). They make them in
plastic as well as the more traditional metal. The downside is the
inability for the wire to move freely through the connector. You could
remove the clamp portion of the metal ones and just get the protective
benefits. I like the rubber ones, but I suppose they could deteriorate
over time.

In case you don't know, make every effort to keep your AV and computer
wiring at least 16" from your 110V wiring. If you must cross paths, I would
try to make the cross at a 90 degree angle to minimize electromagnetic
interference.

Best of luck!
