I broke the vent in the "living room", and have other lights there so I
don't miss them.
It would not be hard to put up a thinline fluorescent fixture right
next to the fan and steal the power from the vent circuit. If you really
want the old light, you could just move it forward or aft of the new
vent and plug the hole with the crank .
