[VAL] Re: VAL Digest V3 #266/PEX

I have used pex tubing and flair-it fittings while building the  
plumbing system in my 1963 Overlander. The fleir-it special tool is $  
5.00, a banana shaped spanner to tighten the fittings. I had no leaks  
in the pex lines after creating the entire plumbing system from  
scratch. I see no need for the crimp type pex xonnections, nor for  
the expensive tool.
