    Rick,

    This particular model is very popular in boats, a friend having one.  He
uses the fan to warm up the cabin and then turns it off, letting the heat by
it self emitting from the unit keep the temp comfortable.  We're only
talking a matter of minutes here and he's located in Gig Harbor WA where it
snows and gets darned ccccooold, well, colder than here in Santa Monica.
