Re: [VAL] Boondocking in Canada

Scott, Two years ago my wife and I flew to Alaska and rented a motor home, we
did some sea kayaking down in Seward but in 1996
I took a 6 week trip and drove up. Boondocking was difficult as the roads are
very limited in both Canada and Alaska, basically it's the Alaskan highway.
Must see areas are the Liard hotsprings, they have camping there but you
should make a reservation in advance, I wouldn't count on space being
available. My personal favorite was the Yukon Territory specifically the
Kluane Range. We saw Grizzle Bears, Moose etc. I found it more pristine than
Alaska. Make sure you buy the mile post before you leave 800-726-4707. It will
tell you everything you need to know along the way including the next garbage
can. My wife will be retiring next year and we are already making plans for
another trip, this time it will be all spring and summer. Have a great trip!
