The most commonly used alternative to Zip Dee was Carefree of Colorado. 
Eventually A&E systems started getting involved but in the early days it 
was mostly Carefree.
The problem with both is two fold. One they used only straight arms, not 
curved like Zip Dee. Two, they both used plastic pieces, gears and 
endcaps and such. As we know plastic parts don't last long enough on 
Airstreams.
So if you are looking for fixed arm window awnings similar to what was 
on there the chances are very slim.
