    Would the use of plastic parts for the big curbside awnings made by
Carefree and A&E have been common with them also?

    Everything keeps pointing at my eventually using a Zip Dee with the old
end caps exchanged for the current ones.  The old ones had their logo cast
into them and hand painted red while the modern ones have a metalized with
red stick-on label there.
