Re: [VAL] paneling for 73 land yacht

Assuming your '73 panel is the same as my '72 panel, it consists of a sandwich of one layer of laminate on either surface of a very thin
plywood core -- this construction is necessary to keep it flat for 33 years (and mine still is). When my wife returns with the van, I will check
the shop manual for parts number, thickness, etc., and forward these on two you.

Possible sources: (1) Jackson Center, (2) Inland RV, (3) salvage, (4) have it custommade.

The stuff is called "tambour", and is available from several sources. In addition to the Winona site, try:
http://www.tapeease.com/tambour.htm. Jackson Center has only the dark tambour left -- I don't know aabout Inland RV. 'There is at least
one supplier (I forget which) who will make custom tambour for you from any laminate you select. I would stay clear of salvaged tambour
-- the stuff deteriorates with time. Of course, you always can repair what you have, but that is really labor intensive, and new tambour is not
all that expensive. If you wish to pursue more suppliers, you always can Google.
