Hi Ann,

The same thing happened to me in my 1996 Airstream.  The pump is a glaring 
example of the "use it or lose it" theory" 

I didn't use my water pump for 6 six year, then I started using it.  It 
worked for a few weeks and dropped dead.

I just had a new one installed here at Billy Sim's Airstream in Lubbock 
Texas.

Seems they need to be used or they dry out and die.
