[VAL] they all leak???

Now I'm worried.  I just spent 12 hours in my 65 Caravel in a thunder  storm 
that wouldn't quit in the Adirondacks.  I was snug as a but and  didn't have 
any leaks.  BUT---I just read a previous post that mentioned  something about 
leaks coming from clear coat removal--is this true?  We are  in the process of 
shining and maybe have been removing clear coat.  Should  we stop????

It was great when we drove slowly through Old Forge NY and I heard a man  
tell his young son..."Look at that cool old camper." :-)  hmmm, he meant  my 
Caravel not me!
