A:     Take a piece of one of the glass retainers to your local glass 
company. I found a close match there. I had to fabricate the retaining 
strip from a close but not exact match by trimming a sliver off the back 
of each strip.

>A:  I agree with the other comments so far on the dump valve. Sometimes just 
putting soapy water into the tanks for a day or so and then dumping and rinsing will 
clean out the slide valve.
