Re: [VAL] Overlander Toilet Question

Most likely there IS a metal ring screwed to the floor -- those nuts you
removed are from the bolts that face upwards from side slots in that same
metal ring. More than likely the toilet is "stuck" to the metal ring and/or
the foam seal that goes between the base of the toilet and the inlet neck of
the black tank.

Can you get a flat putty knife eased into the area below the base of the
toilet so you can try and very carefully pry the toilet away from the
floor/base ring?

The toilet itself should not be "connected" in any way to the black tank as
it just sits on top of the opening that goes through the floor to the tank.
That metal ring is just like the base rings you use in your home; same thing
as it was in my 1969 Intl Ambassador.
