Re: [VAL] furnance noise

The problem is, most all RV furnaces are designed so that the gas valve
doesn't get any power until after the fan is running. There was a sail
switch on the ones that I have messed with that let the system know that the
fan was blowing before it would open the gas valve. Then if it didn't
light, you had to shut everything down and let it reset before you could try
again.

Very strange problem, tho. Like the electrician who told me about a house
he worked on that the door bell would ring everytime they flushed the
toilet. They finally figured out that someone had wrapped the doorbell
wires around the vent stack and the wires were worn so that when you flushed
it vibrated them enough to short together (or to ground) and ring the bell.
