Re: [VAL] copper?!

The actual "real life" dimensions of what you have and what you are looking
for get highly confused by which standard you think in, i.e. refrigeration
tubing vs "water pipe" dimensions. Refrigeration tubing is standard decimal
sizes i.e. 5/8 is .625" OD where 1/2" copper water pipe as used in houses
is listed in the manual as .625" OD also.

5/8" tubing (refrigeration) is the same OD as 1/2" "water pipe" and for
water service in the trailers if you want sweat type fittings, generic 1/2"
copper sweat fittings should work. For soft drawn tubing most people use
flare fittings and that is normal for refrigeration tubing and they are
listed on the www.plumbingsupply.com/flarefittings.html page.

I have not bought 5/8" tubing fittings in a couple of years however last
time I did they were readily available even any of our local hardware
stores. If you are talking about domestic water pipe, no, there is no 5/8"
size that I am aware of. What type fittings are you looking for?
