Go into a local Verizon Wireless office and ask them to fix you up with
access to the Express Network.  They will do this and allow you to use it at
no extra charge.  You pay only for the airtime minutes, which do come out of
your monthly allotment, which is what I did.  That way, you pay the same as
the Quick 2 Net, and it is much faster.

I do have the America Choice plan, and maybe this method is available only
through that particular plan, but probably this is the plan in which you are
interested anyway, as you also avoid long distance and roaming charges as
long as you are on the Verizon network.
