I'm not sure about the size and characteristics of your missing door, 
but I recently discovered that many older (junked) computer cases were 
made of good aluminum and had vents (louvers) on two sides for cooling. 
I plan to cut one up to use as a vent for my refrigerator cooling. 
Cheaper and better looking that any I saw in the catalogs - I'll cut it 
to the size I need. Maybe get the local sheet metal/plumbing guys to do 
a finish bend to the perimeter.
