If you are having this kind of trouble You Need to get
a simple volt meter and Learn how to Run it well.

Every time you hook up ANYTHING  Test the feed
wires and then test them Again.

You could have water pumps running backward
and not pumping well or you could start a fire.

The main thing is to learn how to read that meter.
Electrons do not care what color the wire is.

But, Radio's and other appliances do care.
